Essential Functions :


As a member of the SpectraLink team, this software engineer will develop and troubleshoot embedded Linux-based software in C and C++ for our state-of-the-art mobile solutions.
Assignments will vary in nature and scope, but will generally involve one or more of the following:

• Develop and troubleshoot best-in-class Voice-over-Wireless solutions
• Embedded OS kernel/driver level development
• Customization of embedded web browser.
• Debugging HW/SW problems using variety of hardware and software tools
• The candidate will use strong personal and interpersonal skills to contribute in all facets of the development cycle, including design, reviews, coding, debugging and sustaining activities.

Qualifications :

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 5 years experience in programming and debugging embedded Linux systems software.
• Fluent in C/C++ and cross-platform development tools.
• Strong documentation skills are required.
• Experience in Linux applications development, UI development, browser customization and development and Web communication protocols is strongly desired.
• Experience with Android or iOS application development is strongly desired.
• Familiarity with wireless networking, Near Field Communications, Bluetooth, USB is a plus, but not required.
