IT Systems Analyst - YMCA, Charlotte, NC



Job Description:

Under the direction of the Applications Development Manager, the IT Systems Analyst will work as part of the IT team to implement and support all the business applications in use at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • System design and analysis of new systems or sub-systems to meet business goals.
  • Coordinate efforts with current software vendors to identify application defects and implement application enhancements and fixes.
  • Develop programs to specifications using programming languages utilized within the company.
  • Responsible for data integrity and ongoing management of interfaces between internal applications (including Kronos, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Personify, and Raiser's Edge).
  • Implement and monitor scheduled system jobs to ensure completion and accuracy.
  • Data mining for analysis of data.
  • Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation.
  • Prepare system and programming documentation for users and other IT Staff members in accordance with internal and external standards.
  • Assist users of internal software applications by providing phone support of immediate issues.
  • Provide coaching and instruction to end-users to support and improve IT related processes.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT and Software Development which includes database management with SQL background and programming in .Net or similar languages.
  • Experience with Microsoft's Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, MS SQL Reporting Services, SQL Stored Procedures, .Net, and Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
  • Working knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping and Payroll System.
  • Ability to utilize tools for current operating systems, databases, and programming languages used by the YMCA of Greater Charlotte.
  • Excellent testing and documentation skills.
  • Strong communications skills; the ability to work with and communicate with a variety of system users.
  • Proven ability to accurately assess data and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments efficiently.

Salary: $42,361 - $52,951
