Bronto Software, a leading Software as a Service, (SaaS) business in the email marketing for e-commerce sector is seeking a well-rounded PHP Software Engineer. Qualified candidates will have experience with medium-to-large-scale web development, and will assist in developing our next generation e-commerce analytics and automation applications. Bronto Software tracks and aggregates tens of millions of data points every day and provides near real-time analysis and reporting to our customers. We are utilizing leading Open Source technologies including MySQL, Zend Framework, and Hadoop to develop our data analysis platform for the future. Our Software Engineering teams are small and nimble; qualified applicants will have a direct impact on the design and development of Bronto's rapidly expanding feature set. Software Engineering projects will include:
Design and implementation of new application functionality to allow customers to better analyze and segment their customer base Utilization of the latest JavaScript, jQuery and HTML5 techniques to build sophisticated UI Interface with RESTful internal APIs in an SOA environment to store and analyze big data Opportunities to grow your skill set with some of the area’s most experienced NoSQL/BigData technologists.

Recruitments :


BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field At least 2 years of full-time experience in software development Expertise coding in PHP (Java, Python, Ruby, or other languages a plus) AJAX design pattern experience Solid object-oriented design skills Familiarity with design patterns, unit testing, and writing testable code Comfortable with Linux or OS X development environments Experience working with Subversion, Git, or other versioning tools.

Nice to Have:
Experience with writing applications employing large-scale data storage and analysis systems PHP MVC expertise, especially Zend Framework Knowledge of n-tier or service-oriented architectures Knowledge of marketing software, email or SMS sending systems, social and web analytics, or other highly transactional write-intensive systems
