Job Description
TASC, Inc., is seeking a Software Engineer to join our world-class staff committed to excellence, integrity, and mission. The qualified candidate will become part of the TASC team in providing support during the system-level design and implementation of current and future Data Warehouse and engineering activity tracking data systems. Successful candidate will be a self starter and have the ability to take direction or work self-directed. The ability to think outside the box of common solution will be a plus.
Specifically, the candidate will:
- Must have proven track record of successful software development and product delivery.
- Must be highly proficient in ASP.Net 3.5, with experience in building Web Parts. Highly proficient developing solutions using C#, CSS, T-SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript & jQuery.
- Proven technical ability in supporting the conversion of legacy web applications. Position will be participating in conversion into SharePoint 2010 application providing data warehousing using SQL Server with BCS to legacy database systems, building master pages, custom database interfaces.
- Proficient in Oracle 9i and/or 10g and SQL Server 2008 R2
- Provide technical support in systems level design, implementation and operation of highly complex Data Warehousing for data tracking, document tasking, associated reporting , data analysis , display of complex dashboards for project level managers.
- Must have a strong knowledge of security as applied to DISA/STIGs related to DoD and supporting databases.
- Highly skilled and proficient in systems architectural, design and development of complex web apps.
- Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager 7.0 required.
- Must be very proficient in using Software Development Visual Studio 2010, and the software development lifecycle it supports.
- SharePoint 2010 Server experience strongly desired.
- Team Foundation Server knowledge desired.
- Must be an excellent communicator using written and spoken language
- ColdFusion knowledge would be a plus
Required Skills
Education: BSCS.
Experience: Five to seven years direct experience in related Software Development as described above. Experience with SharePoint software development strongly desired, preferably SharePoint 2010.
Minimum Security Clearance: Secret (or clearable)
