Immediate need to hire experienced (minimum 2 years experience) Help Desk Engineers . This is a full time salaried position (no contract).
About the job
- Serve as customer point of contact
- Document support requests and resolutions
- Desktop and remote support for PCs, laptops, thin clients, printers and mobile devices
- Server support and maintenance for Windows 2003-2008 and Exchange 2003-2010
- End user support: AD account management, hardware/software support, email issues
- Frequent interaction with vendors for support
- Occasional travel may be required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in IT consulting or Help Desk or Desktop support
- Hands-on experience in supporting Windows 7, Office 2003/2007/2010, Windows Server 2003-2008, network printers and mobile devices
- Must have working knowledge of networking (firewalls, wireless, internet) and be able to troubleshoot small networks and connectivity
- Experience with VMware is a plus, but not required
- A+, MCP and Help Desk certifications are beneficial
- Also required is a great personality, the ability to work with users of all technical skill levels, and excellent time management skills.
