The Role:
We are looking for the right individual to join our busy Field IT team. This full-time, hourly, position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking an exciting IT career in a technology based organization. The Senior Field Technology Support Specialist plays a key role in providing support to our clients and venues via remote access. This includes a broad spectrum of clients with IT departments ranging from highly advanced to minimal IT staff and resources. This individual must be highly motivated with exceptional customer service skills and an ability to think outside the box at times to come up with solutions. Responsibilities are included but not limited to:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced support services to clients with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services
  • Provide timely resolutions of problems, able to escalate more difficult problems on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel
  •  Provide case status updates to management and end-users
  • Support and maintain effective relationships with users
  • Assist with the technical development of IT Representatives
  • Lead IT representative at client meetings as needed within the market

Job Requirements :
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of IT/IS or related experience
  • AAS Degree or equivalent technical certificate and/or experience in a field service/technological industry position; a strong background in data communications, computers, and networking, as well an electro-mechanical aptitude
  • A good working knowledge of Windows XP and the Office 2003 / 2007 suite of applications required.
  • Experience with Windows Server suite a plus
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, capable of independent reasoning and troubleshooting, and possess the ability to work reliably and responsibly both independently and in a team environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary
  • Candidate must possess the ability to effectively work in an organized, efficient, neat manner; attention to detail is a must
  • Candidate must be available for rotating evenings and weekend on call availability
  • Able to travel to client and outlet sites as required
  • Company vehicles are used for field calls, but use of personal vehicles may be required during normal business hours as well. Some offices have limited IT vehicles, some may have none
  • Candidate will support less experienced staff on difficult repair issues, and assist IT Manager with staff development and selection
  • Responsible for submitting MAC forms, NOC Site Addition forms
  • Must be proficient in all advanced TM products, such as Access Manager, Hosted Archtics, etc.
  • Capable of configuring and deploying Access Manager server to SOP
  • Proficient with wireless network topology
  • Must have clean driving record with no prior alcohol related charges, be able to provide a current MVR, and must possess dependable transportation
