IT Desktop Support - Goodrich Corporation, San Marcos, TX - Ability to identify, resolve and document routine hardware, software and user issues. Perform adds, moves and changes of computers, printers and telephones. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require in-person, hands-on help to resolve issues at the desktop level. Responsible for meeting or exceeding local Service Level Agreements for on-time delivery and quality. Support asset management processes, including hardware / software refresh, lease management, inventory control and project management.
- 2 years progressive end user and IT support experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment. Windows 7 / Office 2010 Strong communication skills with the ability to accurately describe technical information to a non-technical customer. Proficient problem solving skills Demonstrated experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to exercise individual creativity as well as knowledge to solve complex issues. All qualified individuals must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, kneel for 8+ hours per day and lift 35+ lbs repetitively. Must read, write, speak and understand English language Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Experience with programmable logic controllers and their functions would be a plus. Exposure to object oriented programming languages. A+ Certification Microsoft Certification Previous support of Manufacturing Machine Control Systems
