BPM Application Support Analyst Jobs - Sydney

Global support lead position, train counterparts overseas and lead the support.

Job Description 

  • The client is going through a global transformation with some of their key services from Finance, IT and HR, this has led to the implementation with some products, Appian being the choice for HR and BPM. This role has been created to specifically support this application in a level 1, 2 and some 3 capacity. 
  • There are currently 12 people in the applications team, you will be the main SME for Appian product and work closely with overseas counterparts. This position will be considered as the lead role, some mentoring and training may be required. 

You will; 
  • Act as the Appian SME, provide support to in a meaningful, timely and efficient manner. 
  • Provide technical and functional analysis to help assist end users identify any issues 
  • Problem solve any issues, perform root cause analyst and identify issues, solve or escalate 
  • Perform testing on Appian UI, functionality and usability to ensure they match business requirements 
  • Continuously improve the application where possible 
  • Monitor and resolve cases within the Remedy system 
  • Wear a Business Analyst hat when needed 
  • Manage change within the internal business, support and train end users 

The Successful Applicant 

Desired Competencies:
  • Appian BPM (or similar BPM tool) 
  • Demonstrated experience with forms design and work-flow management 
  • Understanding of Appian's STAR development methodology 
  • Experience with ITIL process 
  • Good understanding of BPM notation 
  • Good understanding of enterprise applications 
  • Some knowledge of web services, Java and SQL (object orientated programming) 
  • Proficient with BMC Remedy application and Microsoft applications 
  • Experience across the SDLC
