ManTech is looking for a cleared Software Systems Engineer II (SSE II) to provide software engineering support to the Marine Corps Systems Command from our Stafford, VA location
Job Description:
- Develop Agile software in C# using Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
- Develop stored procedures, tables and maintenance scripts in SQL for PostgreSQL, MySQL and MSSQL databases
- Develop web service front ends to provide data in OGC format
- Write software test plans, conduct developer testing and write software test reports
- Develop software using Java, eclipse and CollabNet infrequently but as necessary
- Maintain design documentation for databases and software.
- Maintain life cycle management servers
- Conduct certification and accreditation lock down and testing
- Support training, including travel
- Support research and development tasks leading to Field User Evaluations (FUE) ensuring that system requirements are met by timely upgrades to the software and hardware
- Assist in requirements definition for emerging or follow-on systems or variants of systems and
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering or a related technical field
- Must have at least 10 years relevant software experience
- Experience must show increasing responsibility in development or maintenance of software
- Must have 4 years experience in .NET programming
- Must have 1 year minimum experience in C# programming
- Must have at least 2 year’s experience with at least 3 of the following: requirements definition, modular testing, formulating design methodology, documentation origination, systems integration and testing to verify required performance, assessment of change proposals for technical merit, or database design and development
- Must have a demonstrated ability to produce written technical correspondence that supports his/her recommendations, findings, and analyses
- Active TS/SCI
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in CJMTK
- Experience in Database design/implementation
- Knowledge of USMC-specific remote ground sensor equipment, techniques and organization Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience. Degrees Equivalent Experience/Education
